Our 100% Tanzanian AA coffee is imported from Sweet Unity Farms Coffee Cooperative in Tanzania, Africa. Sweet Unity Farms consists of 600+ families who have formed a cooperative under the guidance of David Robinson, son of baseball great Jackie Robinson. The farmers pick only ripe, shade grown "cherries" that contain Tanzanian AA beans. The beans are separated from the cherries, dried, and packed in 60 kilo sacks. After INSPECTION and CERTIFICATION by the United States Department of Agriculture, the Tanzanian AA green beans are roasted and ground to order.Your coffee purchase enables a multifaceted social mission.
